Thus, remember to go for all of your routine dental checkups. That apart, here are a few things you can do to keep your gums healthy.

  • Brush at least twice each day and for at least two minutes each time. Talk to your doctor and see if you need a fluoride-based toothpaste.
  • Do not use a toothbrush with hard bristles as it will damage your gums.
  • If you use dentures, make sure to clean them every day. Also, remove dentures while sleeping. This will improve your gum’s health.
  • Floss at least once every day.
